Based on 'The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano,' Jason Young recreates the childhood of Olaudah Equiano in Benin between 1745-55 through narrative and the assistance of the children of Kpalime. Artistic licence has been taken to bring the narrative up to date.
